You are eligible to receive assistance from the Federal Worker Emergency Loan Program if:
- you are a Maryland resident;
- you were terminated from federal employment in the six months preceding your application, and on or after January 1, 2025;
- you were terminated due to a mass layoff, relocation, or closure of a unit of the federal government, or to similar circumstances beyond your control; and
- You are experiencing financial hardship.
